Sophie Proulx

Sophie Proulx (B.Sc.A. in Rural Engineering—Université Laval, M.Sc.A. in Biosystems Engineering [Soil and Water Engineering]—University of Manitoba) has been team leader of the Mines Division of the Direction des eaux usées at the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs since 2020. At the start of her career, she worked for several years in consulting engineering, specializing in contaminated site remediation. After joining the public service in 2011, she worked for nearly 10 years at the MRNF on the restoration and reclaiming of mining sites under the responsibility of the province.
