Sébastien Tanguay

Sébastien Tanguay is a Team Leader and Senior Rock Mechanics and Mine Optimization Engineer at Norda Stelo, where he has worked since 2016. He has more than ten years of experience in the fields of rock mechanics, long-term mine planning, and underground mining project optimization. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous mining projects and supported the operations of several mines across Canada and internationally.
Mr. Tanguay graduated from Polytechnique Montréal, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering and a Master’s degree in Rock Mechanics. He remains actively involved with the institution by contributing to the mine design course offered to graduating students in the program.
