Sarah Maryssael

Sarah Maryssael is Chief Strategy Officer at Livent and sits on the Board of Nemaska Lithium. She is responsible for growing and scaling Livent’s business globally and supporting Quebec’s efforts to become the next global hub for an integrated lithium and battery supply chain. Prior to Livent, Sarah managed the Battery Metals Supply Chain at Tesla for 5 years where she led the development of strategic partnerships with the industry’s leading mining and chemical companies for the direct sourcing of cathode raw materials. Sarah has also occupied roles with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she helped advise the management teams of global mining companies as well as various engineering, operations and process technology roles at Vale in New Caledonia and ExxonMobil in Australia.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
