Sabrina Harbec

Sabrina Harbec has been Director – Design and Development of Power Management Offers, Customer Products and Hilo Products since May 2023. In this role, her mandate is to ensure that Hydro-Québec’s ambitious power demand management objectives are met, and to ensure a strong synergy between the company’s marketing activities and the technological development expertise of its Hilo subsidiary.

Before joining Hydro-Québec, Ms. Harbec worked for ArcelorMittal Mining Canada for ten years. She successively held the positions of Energy and Raw Materials Buyer, Strategic Procurement Manager, and Energy Strategy and Carbon Market Specialist.

Ms. Harbec holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics with a minor in statistics from St. Lawrence University in New York State, a postgraduate diploma (D.E.S.S.) in management – sustainable development from HEC Montréal and an executive MBA (EMBA) from Université de Sherbrooke. She was a member of Canada’s national ice hockey team for six years.
