Rim Touati

Rim Touati is a Metallurgist and Project Manager with more than 10 years of combined experience in industrial processes, extractive metallurgy, hydrometallurgy and technical project management. She has in-depth expertise in physical ore concentration processes, including grinding, flotation, low- and high-intensity magnetic separation (LIMS/HIMS), gravity separation and classification.

Her experience includes process flowsheet development, circuit optimization, laboratory and pilot-scale metallurgical testing, mass balancing and performance analysis. She also has strong expertise in hydrometallurgy, particularly in leaching, cyanidation and the conversion of mineral resources into value-added advanced products.

She is recognized for her ability to translate experimental results into robust industrial solutions for clients in the mining sector. She currently holds the position of Metallurgist and Project Manager at SGS Canada in Québec City.
