Pierre-Olivier Pineau

Pierre-Olivier Pineau is a full professor in the Department of Decision Sciences at HEC Montréal and holder of the Chair in Energy Sector Management. He is an energy policy expert, particularly regarding the electricity sector. He has published numerous articles on the energy sector, exploring the links between energy and various aspects of sustainable development. Mr. Pineau makes regular media appearances to analyze current energy affairs and has produced various reports for the government and public organizations. He is a CIRANO Fellow and a member of the Canadian Association for Energy Economics (CAEE) and the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en opérationnalisation du développement durable (CIRODD).
