Omid Haeri Ardakani

A Research Scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Calgary, Haeri Ardakani applies sedimentary and fluid geochemistry to Canada’s subsurface energy resources: natural hydrogen and helium systems; caprock integrity for hydrogen, helium, and CO₂ storage; critical elements in coal; and organic-rich sedimentary systems. Methods include stable isotope and trace element geochemistry, fluid inclusion microthermometry, and organic petrology.
