Normand Mousseau

Normand Mousseau is a professor of physics at the Université de Montréal, scientific director of the Institut de l’énergie Trottier at Polytechnique Montréal and co-scientific director of the Energy Modelling Hub. He is also co-founder and senior transition advisor at The Transition Accelerator. A complex material modelling specialist, with more than 240 scientific papers to his credit, he has also been working on energy and natural resource issues for 20 years. He co-chaired the Commission sur les enjeux énergétiques du Québec in 2013–2014, is the author of several books and reports on these issues, including Le défi des ressources minières, published by MultiMondes, and leads the publication of the Institut de l’énergie Trottier’s Canadian Energy Outlook.
