Nils Van Weelderen

Having grown up on the France-Switzerland border between the Alps and the Jura, Nils Van Weelderen studied geology in Scotland before coming to Chicoutimi for a PhD. He is nearing the end of his thesis on carbonatites with the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) and Geological Survey of Canada (GSC), in which he examines the parameters required for niobium mineralization in carbonatites.
