Niels Hagège
Niels Hagège brings together players who don’t usually work side by side: major industrials, start-ups, cities and public institutions.
For more than twenty years, he has built partnerships at the frontier between large corporations and innovators, first at a major French telecommunications operator, then at a start-up accelerator in France. In Montréal, he founded Alter’Inno and designed open innovation programs that connect start-ups, large companies and public organizations.
As Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Cycle Momentum, he puts that experience to work for the climate transition. He leads multi-corporate programs that help the hardest-to-decarbonize industries adopt breakthrough technologies: international scouting, strategic sourcing and the design of pilot projects that deliver measurable environmental impact and real business results.
His ambition: to make Canada the proving ground for climate solutions that will scale globally.
A graduate of NEOMA Business School, he also holds an executive certificate in business administration from EDHEC and a graduate diploma in responsible procurement and dispute prevention and resolution from the Université de Sherbrooke. He is passionate about tennis and music.
