Nicolas Lapointe
Point Laz
An expert in optics and photonics, Nicolas Lapointe puts his expertise at the service of technological innovation as CTO of Point Laz. With a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from Université Laval, his training is specialized in biophotonics, which gives him a unique perspective to address the challenges of the mining industry. Outside of his career, Nicolas spends a significant part of his time at his outfitter or at the sugar shack where he produces world-class maple syrup.
