Nicolas Laflamme

Nicolas Laflamme has nearly 30 years’ experience in the private, public and parapublic sectors associated with forestry and energy. Among other positions, he served as Special Assistant to the Office of the Minister of Natural Resources Canada, responsible for forestry and mining issues. As a forestry engineer, he also held positions in business development and financing in the sectors of forestry and geomatics technologies at the Société générale de financement du Québec (SGF). Laflamme also worked as Program Manager for bioenergy at the Agence de l’efficacité énergétique du Québec (AEEQ) and at the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles (MERN). Finally, mindful of the imperatives of climate change and economic development, he is primarily involved in the strategic development of green hydrogen and bioenergy, drawing on his expertise in biomass procurement and business financing at the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie.
