Nicholas Berrouard

Nicholas Berrouard holds a diploma in Biotechnology, a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, and a graduate certificate in Project Management. He has worked at the Centre National en électrochimie et en Technologies Environnementales (CNETE) and been actively involved in the research and innovation ecosystem for the past 22 years. Throughout his career, he has held positions as Laboratory Technician, Technical Coordinator, Research and Development Manager, and, since 2018, Director of Operations. This broad experience has given him an in-depth understanding of applied research and the college-based technology transfer centre (CCTT) model. His responsibilities include research operations planning, human resources, quality management, infrastructure compliance, procurement management, and the development of management tools. He is also the recipient of a Technology Access Centre (TAC) grant focused on strengthening his Centre’s management capacity. He is currently contributing to the design and development of an innovation centre dedicated to batteries and transportation electrification in Shawinigan.
