Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin

Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin is Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, as well as President and CEO of CIRANO. Principal investigator of the Innovation and Digital Transformation theme and co-leader of the CIRANO Pole on the Socio-economic Impacts of Digital Intelligence, she is currently co-leading several projects on the potential and challenges of adopting AI in several sectors in collaboration with OBVIA.

Her areas of expertise focus on decision-making in a context of unmeasurable uncertainty. A specialist in risk management in a technological environment, she took part in drafting the Montréal Declaration for a Responsible Development of AI. Her most recent projects focus on the opportunities offered by data science for the disclosure of ESG criteria and responsible finance.
