Myriam Trudel

Myriam Trudel has been a lawyer since 1995. She primarily practised at prominent law firms in the Quebec City region, including in the fields of labour relations and litigation. Since joining the Quebec Federation of Municipalities (FQM) as Director of Human Resources and Labour Relations in 2015, she and her team of seasoned professionals have helped municipal agencies throughout Quebec address a range of issues. Meanwhile, in her role as Director of Training, she developed the initial version of a mandatory ethics training program in 2021. The training was delivered to roughly 80% of all elected municipal officials in the province. As Director of Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization, her responsibilities include implementation of the ÉcoÉnergie 360 program, a major and innovative effort to retrofit municipal assets across all regions of Quebec. Finally, she and her team of professionals and consultants also help municipalities develop local renewable energy projects.
