Michel Ratté

After graduating Université Laval with a degree in journalism in the early 90s, Michel Ratté started his career in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Québec City. As of 2006, his passion for aviation led him to work in public affairs, communications, and business development. He was honoured to fly with Max Aviation and meet the Québec Inc. business community across the province. Fuelled by this boundless passion, he became chair of the board of directors of the Association québécoise en transport aérien (AQTA) to defend the industry’s interests. He subsequently returned to a booming mining sector as Director of Sustainable Development for Sayona Québec. Lastly, in October 2022, he was recruited by the Consortium de recherche et d’innovation en transformation métallique (CRITM) as the coordinator of its CSM network for critical and strategic minerals (Réseau MCS). Recognized for his exceptional listening skills, remarkable empathy, and results-driven approach, Mr. Ratté’s aim is to support the planning and implementation of a vast Québec network dedicated to scientific research focused on critical and strategic minerals.
