Michel Gauthier

From 1981 to 2013, Michel Gauthier was a regular professor of economic geology in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at UQAM. Now retired, he remains an associate professor. He taught a course entitled Metamorphism and Deformation of Metalliferous Deposits at the graduate level. He also gave an intensive course on the subject at a previous Québec Mines conference at the Château Frontenac. Over the years, he has put this expertise to work for mining companies.
