Maxim Bergeron

Maxim Bergeron, P.Eng., M.Sc., is the founder and CEO of Glacies, a Canadian cleantech company that develops low-carbon heating solutions for cold climate mining operations. A graduate in electrical engineering from Université Laval, he works at the intersection of thermodynamics, energy systems and industrial infrastructure. He founded Glacies to meet the challenge of decarbonizing mine ventilation air heating. His team has developed the Spray Freeze Heating process, an innovative approach that transforms the latent heat released during water freezing into useful heat for high-capacity mine ventilation systems in northern regions.
