Luc LeBel

Luc LeBel is a full professor and associate dean for research at Université Laval, where he leads the FORAC Research Consortium. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Forestry and Forest Products from Virginia Tech.
His work, conducted in close collaboration with industry partners, focuses on the factors that influence productivity, efficiency, and coordination in forest supply systems, from the forest to the mill. He is interested in all phases of production, from regeneration to harvesting, with an emphasis on logistics, planning, and the integration of new technologies.
