Louis Boivin

Louis Boivin is the national leader of our Clean Economy Investment Tax Credits practice. Over the years, he has coordinated many of our firm’s and client’s efforts to improve the Québec and Canadian tax incentive programs. Louis has also been instrumental in setting up IT teams that help develop modern, efficient tools for our national practice.

Louis launched his taxation practice with Deloitte in 2001. He carries out his main functions in the government incentives sector (tax incentives and grants) for public and private entities operating in the mining, manufacturing and renewable energy sectors. His clients include several multinationals with places of business everywhere in Canada and Québec.

A lawyer by training, Louis has led several conferences and discussion groups over the years and taken part in numerous activities in connection with the mining, manufacturing and renewable energy sectors in order to acquire a solid understanding of the challenges inherent to each sector.
