Léa Géring

Léa Géring completed her studies in France, during which she obtained her bachelor’s degree in applied geology in 2019. She continued her academic career at the University of Lorraine in Nancy, where she obtained a master’s degree in metallogeny and exploration in 2021. During her final year internship at the Helmholtz-Institut Freiberg Für Ressourcentechnologie (Germany), Léa specialized in the development of geomaterial analysis methods for exploration purposes, using hyperspectral and micro-XRF technologies. She is currently a doctoral student at Université Laval, where she is developing an automated micro-XRF method for detecting and characterizing inductive minerals.
