Josée Brazeau

Josée Brazeau has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in ecology, and a master’s degree in environmental studies, both from the Université de Sherbrooke.

She worked for 18 years as an analyst and liaison officer with the First Nations and Inuit communities of Northern Quebec for the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les Changements climatiques (MELCC – now MELCCFP).

She joined the Technical Services team at Agnico Eagle Mines in 2015 as an environmental coordinator to support the development of new projects, notably by participating in environmental assessment activities and applications for permits. She then joined the mine reclamation corporate team in 2021 as a project manager.
