Jimmy Royer

Jimmy Royer graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in 1981. He has worked for nearly 40 years for the deployment of renewable energy projects in integrated and autonomous networks in Canada and elsewhere. He was a senior technical advisor to the federal government for 18 years. Since 2018, he is the technical advisor for KWREC to develop a wind project that will reduce dependence on diesel for electricity production in the dual Cree and Inuit community of Whapmagoostui and Kuujjuaraapik.
