Jean-Philippe Arguin
Laurentia Exploration
Mr. Arguin completed a bachelor’s degree in geology at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) in 2013, followed by a master’s degree in earth sciences in 2015. Mr. Arguin also pursued doctoral studies at UQAC from 2016 to 2018. His graduate studies enabled him to acquire in-depth knowledge of magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE and Fe-Ti-P-V deposits, and to specialize in petrology, geochemistry and geometallurgy. In recent years, he has been involved in several exploration projects for industrial minerals (apatite, graphite, ilmenite, magnetite, rutile) in the Grenville Province and the Abitibi Subprovince. He has been working for Laurentia Exploration since November 2019 as a project manager, petrographer and database manager.
