Jean-Nicolas Beaudry

With over 25 years of experience in the field of advanced materials, Jean-Nicolas Beaudry has held various positions in industrial settings at 5N Plus, Enim Technologies, and AEM Canada. His roles have spanned research, operational, and commercial activities. As a result, he has developed a broad interest in the sourcing, processing, commercialization, and recycling of critical and strategic minerals in markets such as healthcare, defence, luxury products, renewable energy, aerospace, and electronics, as well as other industrial applications.

As Senior Vice-President – Corporate Development and Strategy at AEM Canada Group, Jean-Nicolas currently focuses on market development for high purity alumina.

He has chaired the Steering Committee of Quebec’s Critical and Strategic Minerals Research Network (CSM Network) since it was established in 2022. A graduate of the Materials Engineering Program at École Polytechnique de Montréal and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), he also holds a PhD in metallurgical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as a joint executive MBA from McGill and HEC Montréal.
