Jean-Luc Pilote

Mr. Jean-Luc Pilote completed his PhD at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2018, then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Geological Survey of Canada in 2020. Research scientist at the GSC since April 2021, he directs and collaborates on various research projects on the genesis and factors that control gold mineralization in the Abitibi subprovince. His work is part of the federal Targeted Geoscience Initiative program. Mr Pilote is the recipient of the W.H. Gross Medal from the Geological Association of Canada.
