Jean-Baptiste Dromer

Jean-Baptiste Dromer is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec and has worked in the mining industry for more than 20 years. He has developed expertise in mining operations management through his experience with the largest salt producer operating in Quebec, elsewhere in Canada, and in the United States. A graduate in mining engineering and mining environment, he is very involved in promoting the industry among young people. As Senior Director for Windsor Salt Ltd., he is responsible for all logistics in Canada and operations for Eastern Canada, including the two Pugwash mines in Nova Scotia and Mines Seleine in the Magdalen Islands. He is also President of the board of directors of the Quebec Mining Association since September 2023.
