Ingrid Peignier

CIRANO

Ingrid Peignier is a graduate engineer from the École des Mines d’Alès in France and holds a master’s degree (M.Sc.A) in industrial engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. She is Senior Director in charge of Partnerships and Research Development as well as Project Director at CIRANO.

Her areas of expertise mainly concern the identification, assessment, management and communication of risks in various fields, such as the transport of hazardous materials, underground infrastructure failures, and risks in the bio-food sector. Since 2011, together with Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, she has published the annual Baromètre CIRANO project on risk perception in Quebec.
