Guillaume Chiasson

Guillaume Chiasson graduated from Université Laval in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, specializing in mineral processing. He has worked at SGS since graduation and currently holds the position of Senior Metallurgist, specializing in comminution and mineral beneficiation testing.

He has extensive project experience with a wide range of companies and has managed and supervised numerous laboratory- and pilot-scale comminution and beneficiation test programs. Guillaume has completed a significant number of grinding circuit designs using JKSimMet software, in addition to conducting plant grinding circuit audits and optimization programs. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec as a professional engineer and has co-authored four publications.
