Gervais Perron

Gervais has over twenty-five years’ experience in the mining industry. He is a graduate of École Polytechnique de Montréal (B. Eng. 1993 and M.Sc.A. 1996) in geological engineering, with a specialization in geophysics.

Gervais began the first 5 years of his career with the Geological Survey of Canada as a geophysicist in the seismic and magnetotelluric group. He then joined Mira Geoscience, where he spent most of his professional life (19 years). There, he held several management roles in both consulting and software. He ended his time at Mira as Director of Business Development.

In January 2019, Gervais joined the IMDEX Limitée group. He worked to present, explain and develop integration solutions between the various data collected in boreholes. Since March 2023, he now works as a Global Geoscientist at IMDEX.

Gervais has long been working on the 3D integration of multidisciplinary data in mineral exploration, and its impact on the design and implementation of data acquisition campaigns.
