Gabriel Chagnon

Gabriel Chagnon has worked in the mining and industrial sectors for over 10 years now. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in operations, health and safety, human resources, environment and community relations. As the site services manager for a development-stage mining project in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he is interested in approaches that promote a responsible mining industry—one rooted in its community and focused on ongoing improvement. He is also treasurer of the Rouyn-Noranda branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) and a member of the board of the Fondation de l’UQAT.
