Frédéric Mercier-Langevin

Frédéric Mercier-Langevin is a mining engineer by training. He joined PMET Resources last March as Head of Development and Operations, where he is leading the various development activities for the company’s Shaakichiuwaanaan Critical Minerals Project in the Eeyou Istchee-Baie-James region of Québec.

Frédéric brings more than 20 years of experience in the Canadian and Québec mining industry, having held a variety of roles with increasing levels of responsibility at Agnico Eagle Mines, across its Canadian operations, including the LaRonde, Lapa, and Goldex mines in Québec and the Meliadine mine in Nunavut.

More recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Wesdome Gold Mines, overseeing operations at the Eagle River mine in Ontario and the newly reopened Kiena mine in Québec.
