Francis Vermette

Francis Vermette holds a master’s degree in geography. With RECYC-QUÉBEC since 2007, he was notably in charge of and an expert in residual materials management reports in Québec. He has worked on various province-wide characterization studies conducted at the residential and commercial levels as well as at the waste disposal stage.

After being named team lead, then director of operations in 2018—where he notably oversaw the management of municipal services, selective collection, organic matter and construction, renovation and demolition waste—he was promoted to senior director of operations in 2023.

Since April 2024, he has served as vice-president of operations and development, a key position enabling him to have both a strategic and operational impact on RECYC-QUÉBEC’s activities.
