Francis Fournier

Kruger

Francis Fournier is corporate director of green technologies at Kruger, where he leads initiatives to reduce greenhouse gases (GHGs), energy consumption and water use across the company’s main sites. He is responsible for identifying, developing and monitoring strategic energy efficiency projects that contribute directly to Kruger’s sustainability objectives. He coordinates the efforts of multiple teams to ensure the performance of the GHG reduction program.

A graduate in mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, Francis has over 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry. He joined Kruger in 2009 as director of paper technologies, before taking up the positions of corporate director of energy efficiency and corporate director of green technologies. Recognized for his leadership, he possesses in-depth expertise in manufacturing engineering, papermaking technologies, process improvement and sustainable development.
