Etienne Bouchard

Originally from La Sarre in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Etienne Bouchard is currently the Director of Information Technology at Canadian Royalties. He joined the mining company in 2012 during its construction phase and rose through the ranks to take over management of the IT department in 2015. Over the last ten years, Etienne has spearheaded numerous technological improvement and digital transformation initiatives to meet the company’s growing needs. His key projects include the implementation of low-earth-orbit satellite networks, the migration to the Microsoft Azure/Office 365 hybrid cloud, the deployment of a data warehouse, and the ongoing rollout of a private LTE network.

Drawing on over 20 years of IT experience across various sectors in Canada and the United States, he holds a certificate in business administration from Université TÉLUQ and a diploma in computer technology from Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
