Élodie Lieber

Élodie Lieber is a geologist specializing in mine site reclamation and has been employed by the Quebec Department of Natural Resources and Forests (MRNF) since 2018. She currently serves as a project manager in the Office of Mining Reclamation and Environmental Liabilities. She holds two master’s degrees, one in mineral engineering from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and another in environmental engineering from the Université de Toulouse (France). Her professional expertise encompasses mine reclamation and climate change. Currently, she is primarily responsible for analyzing mine closure and reclamation plans for active mining operations across Quebec. She also serves as an MRNF representative on the Goldex-Manitou Management Committee and helps oversee reclamation activities at the abandoned Manitou mine site.
