Cesar Patricio
Cesar Patricio is an architect and designer whose work sits at the intersection of materials, design and technology. Trained at FAAP in São Paulo and at McGill University, where he earned a Master’s in Architecture, he taught architecture and urban planning in Brazil before moving into Montréal’s technology startup ecosystem as a founder and as an advisor to early-stage entrepreneurs.
Today, he is co-founder and CEO of FibeCycle, where he leads the development of recycled glass fibre composites made from end-of-life wind turbine blades, in collaboration with the National Research Council Canada and McGill University. His designer’s perspective shapes the approach: start from the object and its requirements, then engineer the material to meet them.
He has presented this work internationally, including at Addidex Connect 2026 in the Netherlands, a symposium dedicated to robotic large-format 3D printing, and at the first Brazilian Circular Hotspot in Recife in 2024. He works in French, English and Portuguese.
