Anne Racine

Ms. Anne Racine took up her duties as Deputy Minister of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts on September 5, 2023. She previously held the position of Deputy Minister of the Ministère du Travail from 20 October 2022. Before being appointed to this position, she held various assistant deputy minister positions within the Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale (MTESS): from 17 January 2022, in the management services and information resources sector and, from 28 March 2018 (acting appointment until 27 February 2019), in the labour sector. Prior to that, she had been director general of social solidarity and community action at MTESS since 2016.

Since 2010, she has held various management positions in policy development and intergovernmental relations at MTESS.

Ms. Racine began her career in the public service in 2001 at the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS), before joining the Ministère du Conseil exécutif as an intergovernmental relations advisor. She was also a labour relations advisor at the MSSS.

Ms. Racine holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Université Laval and a master’s degree in public administration from the École nationale d’administration publique. She also holds a diploma in administration from the École nationale d’administration (France).
