Alain Coulombe

Alain Coulombe holds a B.B.A. from Athabasca University in Alberta and an M.B.A. from the Université du Québec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. He began his professional career in 1988 as an administrative assistant at SDBJ. Coulombe then developed a keen interest in economic development. In 1993, SDBJ appointed him as Corporate Development Officer, and in 2000 as Economic Development Officer. He held this position until 2002, when he was promoted to Director of Economic Development. In March 2010, he was appointed Deputy Director General of Economic Development. In November 2018, he was appointed Acting Vice-President of Operations and then Chief Executive Officer on 2 May 2019.
