Challenges faced by mining engineers are many and very diverse. Answers to these obstacles may come from good engineering practices, while others call for a keen sense of innovation from engineers, mining researchers and manufacturers. Presentations of this session will focus on operating and production challenges faced by mining engineers, as well as some innovative solutions.
