At time scales like these, climate change is sure to come into play. And yet, few available climate products or services look beyond the end of the 21st century.<\/p>\n This workshop aims to illustrate the challenges associated with analyzing post-2100 climate change impacts, and provide an opportunity for discussing solutions proposed in the scientific literature. Participants will be given an overview of climate scenarios and projections, as well as existing approaches to looking beyond 2100. They will also review case studies conducted in collaboration with engineering firms and mining companies to assess the long-term effects of climate change on decommissioned mines.
