Advances now span\u00a0all\u00a0key aspects of their genesis, including metal-bearing\u00a0sources, mechanisms of element transfer within the ancient continental crust,\u00a0geochronology,\u00a0timing of emplacement\u00a0relative\u00a0to deformation, structural controls on emplacement, and associated geochemical and petrogenetic processes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This conference will review recent advances in LCT pegmatite geoscience through integrated case studies. It will highlight examples from Precambrian cratons\u00a0in\u00a0Brazil and\u00a0Superior Province\u00a0in\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec, comparing geodynamic settings, mineralization styles, and emplacement models.
