Samuel Lauzon is a biologist who graduated from Laval University (B. Sc., 2014). He also holds a diploma of college studies in biological inventory and research techniques from the C\u00e9gep de Sainte-Foy (2013) and a diploma of vocational studies in protection and exploitation of wildlife territories from what is now Harricana school service center\u2019s Vocational education training center in Amos (2000).<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In 2013, he joined the Direction de la recherche foresti\u00e8re (DRF) as a wildlife technician, contributing to several research projects primarily focused on the spruce budworm and biodiversity in residual forests and dead wood.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In 2022, he joined the DRF's knowledge dissemination and transfer team as a forest scientific knowledge transfer agent.
