{"id":1084,"count":8,"description":"<p style=\"text-align: left\">Jean Gagnon is a forest engineering graduate from Laval University (B.\u00a0Sc.,\u00a01984, M.\u00a0Sc.,\u00a01987). He was a researcher in forest seedlings production at the Direction de la recherche foresti\u00e8re from 1987 until his retirement in 2018.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">His work contributed to the development of irrigation and fertilization systems that were tested using software in order to mitigate the leaching of mineral elements and better protect the quality of groundwater in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s forest nurseries.
