When a snowfall reaches a column of water height of over 25 cm, <a href=\"https:\/\/mrnf.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/RADF\/guide\/departures\/\">a request for an exemption to the Regulation under section 40 of the Sustainable Forest Development Act<\/a> can be made with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quebec.ca\/gouvernement\/ministeres-organismes\/ressources-naturelles-forets\/coordonnees-structure\/reseau-regional\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"management unit in charge\">management unit in charge <\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lien_externe.png\" alt=\"This link opens a new window\" \/> (in French only) to increase the permitted stump height to 60 cm.
