Section 140<\/h1>\n

Each block cutting harvest site must be indicated in the integrated forest development plan. The foregoing also applies to the residual forest of a block cutting.<\/p>\n

Once indicated in the plan, the residual forest of a block cutting may not be used again as residual forest for as long as the harvesting cannot be carried out in accordance with the first paragraph of section 142<\/a>.\"\"<\/p>\n

  • To maintain the components of the forest cover that provide shelter for wildlife<\/li>\n

    Additional information<\/h4>\n

    Second paragraph<\/strong>
    \nThe residual forest of a block cutting may be used again as residual forest if the following two conditions are met:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • A period of ten years has elapsed from the date on which the block cutting took place.<\/li>\n
    • The regeneration has grown to an average height of 3 m in the cutting areas on the block cutting harvest site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
