Furthermore, the person must harvest trees when the ground is frozen at a depth of at least 35 cm. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/drapeau-texte.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"disposition\">\n<h2>1<\/h2>\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To preserve the integrity of a particular place or territory<\/li>\n<li>To allow certain forest development activities in or near a particular place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>This section does not apply to archeological sites where the Minister has allowed, under the <a title=\"This link opens a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/ShowDoc\/cs\/A-18.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nopopener\">Sustainable Forest Development Act <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lien_externe.png\" alt=\"This link opens a new window\" \/><\/a>\u00a0(chapter A-18.1), forest development activities to be carried out on conditions different from those provided for in the first paragraph.<\/p>\n<p>Before allowing forest development activities to be carried out on an archaeological site on conditions different from those provided for in the first paragraph, the Minister consults the Minister responsible for the administration of the <a title=\"This link opens a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/ShowDoc\/cs\/P-9.002\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nopopener\">Cultural Heritage Act <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lien_externe.png\" alt=\"This link opens a new window\" \/><\/a>\u00a0(chapter P-9.002) to obtain his or her opinion on the cultural interest of the sector.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/drapeau-texte.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"disposition\">\n<h2>2<\/h2>\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To allow certain forest development activities in or near a particular place<\/li>\n<li>To reconcile forest development activities with the protection of the cultural heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Explanations<\/h3>\n<p>The Minister responsible for applying the <a title=\"This link opens a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/ShowDoc\/cs\/A-18.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nopopener\">Sustainable Forest Development Act <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lien_externe.png\" alt=\"This link opens a new window\" \/><\/a>\u00a0may allow a person to carry out forest development activities in an archeological sector outside the period when the ground is frozen at a depth of at least 35 cm, or to disturb the soil when doing so. The Minister responsible for applying the Sustainable Forest Development Act \u00a0must first consult the Minister responsible for applying the <a title=\"This link opens a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/ShowDoc\/cs\/P-9.002\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nopopener\">Cultural Heritage Act <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lien_externe.png\" alt=\"This link opens a new window\" \/><\/a>to obtain his or her opinion of the sector\u2019s cultural interest.
