{"id":95277,"date":"2018-04-16T13:59:09","date_gmt":"2018-04-16T17:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mrnf.gouv.qc.ca\/RADF\/section-21\/"},"modified":"2026-03-04T13:16:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T18:16:14","slug":"section-21","status":"publish","type":"cpt_radf","link":"https:\/\/mrnf.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/RADF\/guide\/chapter-ii\/section-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Section 21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section bb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.94&#8243; module_class=&#8221;bg-radf&#8221; box_shadow_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.94&#8243; module_class=&#8221;wrapper-radf&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.3.1&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"titre-section\">Chapter II \u2013 Protection of particular places and territories<br \/>\nDivision II &#8211; Special provisions applicable to Native portage trials, Native campgrounds and Native gathering or sojourn areas<\/p>\n<h1>Section 21<\/h1>\n<p>Where a Native campground or group of campgrounds not referred to in the second paragraph of <a href=\"\/en\/RADF\/guide\/chapter-ii\/section-20\/\">section 20<\/a> is installed on the territory of a beaver reserve, no forest development activity may be carried out over an area of 4,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, including the area of the campground or group of campgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>This section applies to a maximum of 2 campgrounds or 2 groups of campgrounds per 100 km<sup>2<\/sup> of trapping ground. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/drapeau-texte.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"disposition\">\n<h2>1<\/h2>\n<h4>Objective<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To preserve the integrity of a site of particular interest to a Native community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Explanations<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/RADF\/guide\/chapter-ii\/section-20\/\">Section 20<\/a> grants protection to only one campground per 100 km<sup>2<\/sup> of trapping ground situated in a beaver reserve. If there is more than one Native campground per 100 km\u00b2 of trapping ground, the trapper may choose which one is protected. The other Native campgrounds or groups of campgrounds are nevertheless protected under this section, since forest development activities cannot be carried out over an area of 4,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, including the area of the campground or group of campgrounds.
