Summary:
New occurrences of architectural granite, sillimanite, mica, garnet, and graphite have been discovered during geological mapping in the Sainte-Anne-du-Lac, L'Ascension, and Mont-Laurier areas. Two granite sites meet several requirements of the granite industry. Two peraluminous granite horizons can be considered as potential sources of sillimanite.
