Mailly, Daniel

Daniel Mailly is a forest engineer with degrees from Université Laval (B.Sc. 1987; M.Sc. 1991; MBA 2011) and the University of British Columbia (PhD 1998).

From 1998 to 2013, he worked as a researcher at the Direction de la recherche forestière (DRF). His work focused on forest growth and yield.

From 2013 to 2021, he was an expert advisor to the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation and the Ministère des Transports, particularly on issues related to climate change.

Since 2022, he works at the DRF as the person in charge of scientific content for forest research.
